CSE Blog by Tracy Wood

cse_blog / July 14

I have recently been recruited by the Childrens Society as a CSE Prevention Officer for the South West Region. I will be working with police from Devon and Cornwall to Gloucestershire.   I will be working with DI Larisa Hunt and Spencer Akerman in the Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) as part of the Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSA/E) Prevention Service for England and Wales.

The programme is a joint initiative between police, The Children’s Society and Victim Support working across all policing regions in England and Wales to analyse data, develop strategies and contribute to action plans which aim to deliver results for the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation. The aim of the programme is to support the existing services across the region to identify gaps through positive strategies that can prevent the exploitation and abuse of children and young people. I am currently scoping intelligence sharing and CSE training.  If you require any further information or would like to share your thoughts/ideas then please either phone or email:-
